The legendary Bullet nameplate is all set to enter an all-new era, as Royal Enfield prepares to launch the Bullet 650 in India in January 2026. First showcased at EICMA 2025 and later displayed at Motoverse 2025 in Goa, the motorcycle has already created massive excitement among Bullet fans and highway touring enthusiasts. With the Bullet 650, Royal Enfield is aiming to blend vintage charm with modern performance, making it the most powerful Bullet ever produced.
Carrying forward its timeless personality, the Royal Enfield Bullet 650 retains the iconic upright stance and royal road presence that the Bullet has been loved for through decades. The classic winged emblem, hand-painted fuel-tank pinstripes, tiger-eye pilot lamps and the chrome-finished round LED headlamp highlight the brand’s nostalgic touch. At the same time, new upgrades like LED lighting, better ergonomics and refined build quality bring freshness to the design without breaking tradition.
Long-distance comfort is also one of the central focus points of the Bullet 650. It features a broad and supportive bench seat mounted on a steel tubular frame for excellent highway stability. Riding on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, and weighing 243 kg, the motorcycle promises a planted feel on open roads. Dual-channel ABS, disc brakes at both ends, and a USB Type-C charging port further improve safety and convenience, making the motorcycle not just powerful, but also practical for daily and touring usage.
Powering the Bullet 650 is the tried-and-tested 648 cc parallel-twin air-oil-cooled engine, already acclaimed on the Interceptor and Continental GT. Producing 47 bhp and 52.3 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the engine promises smooth and refined performance that is expected to be a massive upgrade for riders coming from the Bullet 350.

Final Thought – By Anuradha
The Royal Enfield Bullet 650 feels like a perfect fusion of emotion and power. It looks every bit like the classic Bullet we’ve admired for years, yet it carries the muscle and smoothness modern riders crave. If Royal Enfield prices it smartly, this motorcycle could become the dream upgrade for traditional Bullet lovers and new-age tourers alike. Personally, I can’t wait to see how the Bullet 650 transforms India’s obsession with retro cruisers once it hits the road in January 2026.
